Oh hey. No way. It’s Targét. We take Our nickname as a compliment. So to show we’re in on the joke, we created nearly 200 different scenes all rhyming with TargÉt. Rather than say it out loud, we got viewers to say it in their minds.
We did huge multi-panel takeovers in Times Square.

We celebrated the anniversary of NASA’s Lunar Landing.
And made fetch happen for Mean Girls fans.
We even got the lawyers to let us to put an accent over the logo to emphasize the idea. Lawyers really hate when you change the logo apparently.
People picked up on the joke and loved it.
